THE MCEVOY FAMILY OF THE NINE MILE

In the early 1900's, the family of the McEvoys bought into land bought from the STRUBER family. The nine Mile Creek ran through some of the property. The members consisted of Justin, George, Joe and Julian and a sister May. Many years later the property was sold to Russell Boland, who continued with grazing for some years before retiring in Rockhampton.
