How is Your Water Supply? |
|
| |
Fitzroy Agricultural Corridor Water Inc. –
If you are seeking solutions to your water issues, FAC WATER Association Inc. is here to support you.
As a not-for-profit organization, we rely on membership fees to cover our ongoing operational costs and administrative expenses. To date, committee members have personally funded additional needs such as surveys, mail-outs, and advertising materials, rather than drawing from the association’s account.
We recognise that not everyone can attend meetings, but we value all levels of engagement and are committed to providing timely information and updates to our members. FAC WATER Association Inc. cannot continue its work without community support.
Established six years ago, our mission is to facilitate access to raw river water for those unable to draw from the Fitzroy River directly. While previous initiatives were unsuccessful, our committee has made significant progress, notably through the South Yaamba project, which originated from our own survey of local water needs. This project is now at the business case stage, and its success will open new opportunities the rest of the community.
We invite you to become a member for just $5 per year. Membership ensures you receive up-to-date information, meeting minutes, and aligns you with Advance Rocky. FAC WATER provides a centralized contact point for water issues, streamlining communication for all stakeholders. Our committee and other active members, remains dedicated to representing local water interests — from hobby farmers to commercial enterprises — and continues to advocate on your behalf.
Please contact facwaterinc@gmail.com and or complete the water survey to tell us confidentially what your water needs are.
